This Privacy Policy describes how Spoilsport Ventures LLC ("Rounding Third," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Rounding Third mobile application, this website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Rounding Third is a private dating journal and analytics app. It is not a public social network or public dating marketplace.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Information We Collect

Because Rounding Third is designed to help you privately track and analyze your dating life, some of the information you choose to provide may be sensitive.

1. Account and Authentication Data

• Your email address and account identifier.
• Your sign-in method, such as Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password.
• Basic profile details associated with authentication providers, such as display name or first name, if made available to us.

2. Profile and Preference Data

• Information you provide during onboarding or account setup, including first name, birth date, age, gender identity, and attraction preferences.
• Settings, preferences, and support communications.

3. Content You Create in the App

• Player or contact records you create, including names or nicknames, photos or avatars, age, birth date, city, country, ethnicity, notes, and social links.
• Date and hookup entries, including locations you enter or search for, timestamps, spend amounts, event details, and related notes or metrics.
• Derived insights, summary statistics, and in-app analytics generated from your entries, such as counts, trends, funnels, and similar scorecard information.

4. Photos and Media

• If you choose to upload a photo, we collect the image you select from your device and store it with your account.
• If you choose an avatar instead of a photo, we store the avatar selection and any related display settings.

5. Coach and AI Interaction Data

• If you use the Coach feature, we collect the messages you send and the responses returned to you.
• To generate Coach responses, we may include relevant account context and app activity, such as your aggregate dating metrics and selected details from your player records and entries.
• We may attempt to reduce direct identifiers before sending data through the Coach workflow, but not every detail will necessarily be removed.

6. Technical, Device, and Service Data

• Technical information needed to operate, secure, and debug the Services, such as app version, timestamps, authentication events, IP address, device or request metadata, and service logs generated by us or our providers.
• Storage and network metadata associated with content uploads and API requests.

7. Website Data

If you visit our website, we may receive standard web request information such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, and server logs. This Privacy Policy does not assume that browser cookies are used in the mobile app experience simply because the app is native.

How We Collect Information

• Directly from you: When you create an account, complete onboarding, upload images, create player records, log dates or hookups, message Coach, contact support, or otherwise use the Services.
• From sign-in providers: When you choose Apple or Google sign-in, we receive the account information those providers make available to us.
• From your device and permissions: If you choose to open your photo library or search for places, the app uses device and platform services necessary to complete those actions.
• From maps and location-search tools: The app may process place searches you type or select in order to attach locations to your entries. The app does not currently request your device's precise GPS location permission as part of the core logging flow.
• Automatically from service providers: We and our infrastructure providers may receive limited technical and diagnostic data when you authenticate, store content, or access backend services.

How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
• Create and display your private dating journal, scorecards, trends, and related analytics.
• Upload, store, and display images and avatars you choose to use.
• Authenticate users and manage accounts.
• Respond to support requests, operational notices, and account communications.
• Operate the Coach feature and return AI-assisted responses.
• Investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users and the Services.
• Comply with legal obligations.
• Create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify you.

Sensitive Data

Depending on where you live, the information you choose to provide through Rounding Third may be considered sensitive, special-category, consumer health, or similarly protected data. This may include your birth date, gender identity, attraction preferences, sexual or relationship history, ethnicity, photos, notes, and location history related to dates or hookups. We process this information to provide the Services you request and for the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Coach and AI Processing

If you use the Coach feature, your prompts and selected account context are sent through our backend to help generate a response. That processing may include sensitive information derived from your dating history, player records, locations, spend, and similar activity data. You can avoid this processing by not using the Coach feature.

Coach responses may be generated with the help of third-party model or infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. We may retain Coach interactions for service operation, safety, debugging, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. Do not rely on Coach as medical, mental health, legal, or emergency advice.

How We Disclose Information

We do not sell your private journal entries or player records for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

1. Service Providers and Infrastructure Partners

We use third parties that help us operate the Services, such as authentication, cloud hosting, storage, database, maps or place-search providers, customer support tools, email providers, and AI or model processing providers.

For example, we use Firebase and related Google services for authentication, app backend, and storage. Firebase may collect identifiers and service usage information as described in Google's documentation and privacy materials (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

2. Legal, Safety, and Enforcement

We may disclose information if we believe doing so is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of any person, investigate abuse or fraud, or enforce our legal terms.

3. Business Transfers

We may disclose or transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business.

4. Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

5. With Your Direction or Consent

We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or otherwise consent.

Your Choices and Rights

• Access and updates: You can update certain account and profile information in the app.
• Optional permissions: You can choose whether to upload photos or use optional features such as Coach.
• Promotional messages: If we send promotional emails, you can opt out using the unsubscribe mechanism in those messages.
• Account deletion: You may request deletion through the app or by contacting support@roundingthird.app. When you delete your account in the app, we trigger backend processes designed to remove associated account data from our authentication and application systems, subject to limited retention for backups, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and records that have already been aggregated or de-identified.
• Jurisdiction-specific rights: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or appeal. You may contact us at support@roundingthird.app to exercise those rights.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and how it is used.

• Account and app content are generally retained while your account is active.
• If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify data associated with that account within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, anti-fraud, dispute, and backup retention needs.
• Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer because it no longer reasonably identifies you.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission, storage, or security control is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Children's Privacy

The Services are intended only for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@roundingthird.app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, by email, on this page, or by other reasonable means. The "Effective Date" above shows when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
